Marc Barasch

Marc was the writer and co-producer of "One Child, One Voice"

He is the former editor-in-chief of New Age Journal, where his coverage of environmental and political issues won the Washington Monthly award for investigative reporting and a National Magazine Award. He has been an editor at Psychology Today andNatural Health magazines.

He has written an award-winning health trilogy: The Healing Path (1992), which Dr. Larry Dossey called "a beacon of science, spirituality, and sanity;" Remarkable Recovery (1995, with Caryle Hirshberg), a study of the human capacity for self-healing; and Healing Dreams (2000), hailed by the Washington Post   as "trailblazing and courageous" and winner of a Nautilus Award for best psychology title. His next book is on the subject of compassion.

He has produced television shows for Discovery Channel and England's Channel Four. He served as development director/producer of "E-Town," a weekly National Public Radio music-and-variety show highlighting environmental themes. He was educated at Yale University, and is a well-known lecturer.
