The Riverkeeper Shad Fest & Hudson River celebration hosted by Robert Kennedy, Jr. marks the late spring or "lilac" run of the American Shad. The Festival provides city and valley residents with a chance to celebrate the revival of the Hudson River, while learning and participating in environmental and sporting activities on the banks of the river we fight so hard to protect. Held on the magnificent grounds of Boscobel Restoration in Garrison, NY above the banks of the Hudson River, the event included for the first time a Tree of Life.
